Sub-Sahara Africa warrants any serious investor to take note of it’s opportunities. With 1.1 billion people, the region not only shows significant potential with Countries like Côte d’Ivoire forecasted to expand by 7.2 percent in 2018; Senegal & Tanzania by 6.9 percent; Ethiopia by 8.2 percent; economies here are already growing faster than other parts of the world according to the World Bank.

Dave Romero

A qualified professional accountant (South Africa). Dave became the Financial Director and later the Managing Director of Equivest, a venture capital group. Passionate philanthropist and a seasoned VC professional with 30 years’ experience who has assisted over 100 companies to get off the ground. Successfully listed three companies on the JSE.

The CEO and Founder of Red Ribbon Asset Management Limited and highly successful entrepreneur and experienced investor, with prior experience across venture capital, real estate, fintech and retail businesses. Marcus Wohlrab

Held advisory roles in investment banking at Wood Gundy (Canadian investment bank), Paine Webber (US investment bank) and UBS (Swiss bank), later was Executive Vice President at NASDAQ and EASDAQ Stock Markets, running both European and Middle Eastern sales, marketing and research teams. Marcus is also a Co-Founder of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange (GSX Limited).

Kerry Blight

Was CEO of Credit Suisse in Gibraltar for 6 years until 2016 where he oversaw a successful restructure of the Private Banking business. Prior to joining Credit Suisse he enjoyed a near 30 year career with RBS, serving as the Managing Director in Gibraltar. Kerry has also served as President of the Gibraltar Bankers Association and Chairperson of the Gibraltar Finance Centre Council.

Carlos Martins

Worked in international private banking and wealth management for more than 28 years and has held various managerial positions in international groups such as SG Hambros Bank (Gibraltar) Limited (part of Société Générale Group) and Credit Suisse. He is a Swiss Certified Financial Planning Expert and a member of the Executive of the Gibraltar Funds and Investments Association.
